We will be visiting Cotacachi and Cuenca after a few days in Quito. Your humourous travelog and comments have proved helpful and we await our trip with pleasure. Hope one day we will meet in one of those synchronous events in a cafe in Cuenca or who knows where. Here in the US we can manifest anything. Order it on the internet and it arrives within the week. How about in Ecuador. Do they have shipping/delivery companies?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17933038851595651553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4477372786832763911.post-48552130721939286982011-01-20T12:07:02.565-05:002011-01-20T12:07:02.565-05:00Hello! I don't know if you remember us, but we met you and Rachel at the California Kitchen during our visit in December (the lost luggage folks from Oklahoma)! We to are considering Cotacachi instead of Cuenca. Although we loved the people we met in Cuenca, we just don't know if it is the city for us. We work in the city, but love the quiet of our home on 2 acres in Piedmont where we live now. Thanks for your take on it, Val had told me you two were considering the move.

Shelly & Guy HurstGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17783265655965493798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4477372786832763911.post-66138595169848642842011-01-20T12:05:16.468-05:002011-01-20T12:05:16.468-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17783265655965493798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4477372786832763911.post-32136146945124272782011-01-18T21:09:05.071-05:002011-01-18T21:09:05.071-05:00I love your sense of humor. Our trip to Ecuador in December (remember meeting us by chance at the cafe?) convinced us that Ecuador is a real possibility, but probably not in the city...too much noise & diesel pollution. We are thinking about the outskirts of Cuenca but maybe we should look at Cotacachi too. I'll be interested to follow your blog to find out if you & Rachel make that choice. Great meeting you both & hope to see you again soon.Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07968755283627941764noreply@blogger.com
